Didn't get many photos that evening because of the rain.

This event is a time to have fun and enjoy lots of company with friends and welcomed strangers.  The photos start as the event unfolded.

Jeannie Lamair & Grandaughters.

Bob Harrington, Frenchie & Billy Townshend.

Lindsey Parker & John Delaune.  Very pleasantly bold little girl and she will let you know if your dress code isn't up to zip top shape.  I like that in a girl.

Lee Ann, my kind of women.  She has Chili Pepper Hot Shot.

BP camp later in the evening. This lovely lady helped this picture tremendously.  Emily by Cris Shafer  This is the 1st time BP has been in the cook-off since the last regime. (The regime I retired from.)

Emily & John. Emily came from out of town to visit the event.  Loved having her. The photographer doesn't get the pleasure of putting his arm around the pretty girls too often.  There are a lot of original faces and more new faces in the BP camp.

This is the day of the cook-off at 6:00am in the morning.  Time to start the Chili.

6:00am Chili Cook Day.  If it wasn't for the BS and comradery, it would make for a long day.

Carol Hardin cutting up onions.

Theresa Hearn dressed for their theme of the day.  National Oil Well.

It's quiet for now.

Bob Davis.  He is talking about stepping out of the lead for this event.

These girls were ready.

The United States Air Force honored the event.  LtCol USAFR Marc T. Olson and his wife Ronda drove from Shreveport to visit and have a bowl of chili.  It was great having them.

What a bee.

And I thought Sandra was my girl.  Sandra and Roger.

Daniel & his team, I believe are responsible for getting BP back on the scene and in the community. Sandra, on the left, was always there for me.

I did catch Kelly smiling.

Clint & Kathy again.

Johnny, still at it.  He retired from Linco.

This is a sweetheart, Jamie Roper.  I've known her and her family for awhile.

The fun meeting new partiers and renewing old acquaintances is what it is all about at the event.  This lovely lady knows a lot of my ex-Amoco friends.  The kid on the right, which I didn't recognize, worked with us back in the early 90's.

Marc Webb, Mr. BP.

Jamie, Mikki, Brandy.  Sweet Girls.

Something about my camera when it sees a pretty girl, it locks in.

Carol has all the fun.

The fellow in the white hat needed his picture taken.

Leo Lowery & behind him is the new coordinator for this event, Eric Terkelson.

Linda, with General Dynamics accepted 1st place in Showmanship.

I didn't get pictures of all the winners because they didn't face me.  It would have been into the sun from other direction.  It would be interesting to know how the pictures the photographer facing the sun came out.
